Something Special. i.e the most obvious one would be Eminem we Should all know what makeS him Special, 50 cent when he first came out his Special factor was the fact that he Survived an arraY of bulletS, and that he was/iS so outSpoken about other rapperS. KanYe weSt was the first dude that i know of to bring the college tYpe of thing aS a part of what he wanted to diSplay to the public, alSo he Survived a near fatal car craSh.
